American Sniper

Last weekend Clint Eastwoods newest movie American Sniper based on Chris Kyle, a Navy SEAL credited with the most kills in American military history. The movie deals mostly with the enormous amount of pressures during the heat of battle, and how doing what needs to be done takes a great emotional and psychological toll on a person. Chris Kyle overcame PTSD through helping fellow veterans battle it. Michael Moore commented on the film that snipers were cowards and were not hero's. I strongly disagree with that and believe that Chris Kyle and countless other snipers save thousands of lives doing what they do and are hero's.

  1. I agree with you conor on the fact that snipers are very important to all military's. also michael Moore only said that snipers are cowards because his father was killed by a sniper. snipers are the eyes for the men on the ground. Finally I can't wait to see this movie.

  2. Everybody is talking about the movie and how it is really good. I heard that it is based on a true story, which makes it a very good movie and i don't think it is based on one person, I think this movie is the life story of every person in the military.

  3. I know that snipers are important to the military, but I don't think Chris Kyle was a hero. He was a sociopath and a racist. There are a lot of dumb people tweeting things like "this movie makes me want to kill all muslims". I don't support a movie that makes anyone think that way.
