2010 Taylor Swift Sony Camera Commercial
There are so many techniques used in advertising. One that is still used today is using famous people. Associating a product with a famous figure such as a singer, creates a strong psychological connection in the customer. These commercials encourage an emotional response in customers, which then is linked to the product being advertised, making it attractive through transference. Back in 2010, Taylor Swift created a commercial for Sony associating the product feature with taking a photo of a ton of people. Companies always want famous people in their ads because people look up to them.

Fast Food Frenenzy
In this article it talks a lot about how fast food very bad for the human race. I agree fast food is bad for everybody, it cause lots of problems but these problems start because the fatty foods causes obesity. But what's funny is how everybody in the country complains about obesity but the healthy food cost more than unhealthy food. For example a Brisk from the gas station cost 1.09 but a water bottle cost $2. Poor people suffer badly because the only thing they can afford is the unhealthy things therefore they get Fat.
Most Expensive Drink Ordered at Starbucks!
Starbucks has a rewards program that many people take advantage of. People who have it could get free food, drinks, and other deals by accumulating stars. During May of 2014, a customer named Andrew who had the rewards program, ordered an extremely expensive drink described as "60-espresso-shot 128-ounce milkshake, which would have cost an astounding $54.75." Since he was a “gold” member of Starbucks’ reward system, his next drink was free. “Unfortunately for Starbucks, the chain didn't stipulate how large or expensive the drink can be.” He wanted to be the new record holder for the most expensive drink ordered. I think that the drink is insanely big. I think it was cool that he got the most expensive drink ever ordered for free because of the way the rewards system is set up. Starbucks is one of the largest and most successful American global coffee companies.
