Visual Data: How Predictable is U.S Weather?

I chose the chart showing the accuracy of weather predicting. I find this graph interesting because it's something I never thought about. It is a clear representation of the United States showing the weather predictability of each state. Rapid City, South Dakota is the least predictable whereas, Honolulu, Hawaii is the most predictable. These are facts I was never aware of. It's cool to see where Michigan is on the scale. I agree with the placement since I don't think it's very predictable. This graph communicates information in a way that numbers and tables can't because it lays out a full representation of the U.S using a color scale of the predictability. This method provides more of a visual for people that like to see everything.
