There is another plane accident in Asia. The pilots of Trans Asia Airways Flight GE235 grappled with problems with
both engines before the plane clipped a bridge and crashed into a
river, killing dozens of people. He stall warning went off in the cockpit five times, starting from about
37 seconds after takeoff, the aviation agency told reporters, citing
information from the aircraft's flight recorders. The two engines on the ATR 72 turboprop aircraft stopped producing power
one after the other, leaving the plane flying without thrust for more
than a minute. The pilots issued a mayday alert to air traffic control, announcing an
engine flame-out, or power failure. They eventually managed to restart
the engine, but it was too late to prevent a crash.
This is a very bad situation and I feel very sorry the family members of those who didn't survive the crash. Lately there has been a lot of reports about planes crashing or just disappearing. I think we need to just take another look at the engineering of the planes and have better communication between the pilot and the air traffic control.
