The “On Native soil”
video was a very interesting video. It
was really interesting to hear the radio calls of the F.A.A. I learned that the
United States wasn’t prepared at all, they knew that there was a threat that airplanes
could be used as weapons, and also they knew that there were unusual people
trying to learn how to fly planes, and they still weren’t prepared. The families were so disappointed because
they thought that the terrorist attack could’ve been prevented but the
government argued that they did their best.
9/11 impacted the USA’s government and culture. After the Commission,
the U .S added a director for the C.I.A. and they repaired a lot of things that
caused the failure of the prevention of the attack, for example they paired up
the police and the fire department, increased airport security and many other things.
I learned a lot from this video because it went deep into 9/11, it showed
everything step by step which made the video stand out from others.
I agree. No one was expecting such an attack. 9/11 impacted everyone's lives after it occurred. It even affects us today with airplane security and having more protection with flying. I also enjoyed the way the film was formatted.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you guys, the government definitely improved itself after 9/11. I think the film was pretty good, it was heavily focused on the emotions of the family members, I think the filmmaker did too many edits to make the documentary more dramatic.
